Independent Calare grew from a simple idea. The people who live here know what this place needs, and our elected federal member should answer to us.
We are a community movement, not a party. We are not owned by anyone and we are not for sale. Our job is to make sure Calare has a real choice and a real voice, election after election.
In 2022 and 2025, thousands of people across the electorate got involved. They letterboxed, door-knocked, hosted conversations around kitchen tables, chipped in, and showed that change is possible here. That community did not pack up after polling day. It is still here, and it is growing.
What we stand for is straightforward. Integrity and transparency in how decisions get made. Real action on climate and the environment. A fair go for the towns and people who too often get overlooked. And an MP you can actually reach.
